On November 10th, 2016, Congregation Shaar Hashomayim put on an epic multimedia concert honoring 'Women Wartime Heroes'. The McGill Chamber Orchestra was combined with soloists, a violinist, an emotional/compelling story and over 150 feet of wrap-around custom video art. Our job was to 'paint' the walls of the magnificent sanctuary with video art, content, and archival materials through 90 minutes of touching narration and 7 orchestral masterpieces.
We were given creative control to bring the words of the narrators and the sounds of the orchestra to life. See some of the samples!
This was an amazing opportunity and an amazing production!
Thanks to all those who collaborated on this project, including producer/conductor Roi Azoulay, writer Lorne Shapiro, sound engineer Roger Jay, stage manager Audrey Finkelstein, and the amazing team at Eventex.
