The Science of Giving

The Science of Giving

There is nothing more rewarding then being able to put your skills toward helping a charity. Produced for Life Vest Inside, The Science of Giving is an animated explainer video that scientifically proves to the world why it is good to give!

Inspired by 'Designed by Apple', completing this project was lots of fun, but it didn't come without its share of challenges. Telling a story with a series of dots takes much imagination and creativity. On the technical side, a lot of thought went into how to animate the various scenes to make the video feel natural and consistent.

I believe that Quebec and Canada have Charters of Human Rights and Freedoms for a reason. So when the Quebec government proposed Bill 60, I wanted to take action. I conceived the idea for this video with the support of the Jewish General Hospital and it garnered the attention of the public as well as the media as I had hoped. The video is simple in it's design. Filmed on Wednesday and Thursday, edited on Friday and uploaded on Monday. In it's first 2 weeks online, the video was watched 16,000 times.

Word spread to the media, and the Montreal Gazette was the first to get in touch with me. Aaron Derfel interviewed me over the phone and his article was published the next day.

Next came a Television interview on Global News with Aaliah Adam.

This was followed by a radio interview with Barry Morgan on CJAD.

The news then travelled half way around the world and I was contacted by the Times of Israel

All in all, I am very pleased with the success of the video and the attention it received. I thank all those who helped spread the word and those who provided me with the guidance necessary to see the project through.

Silhouettes is a great new short biography series that features young local personalities. Imagination Creations was hired to film and edit the second episode featuring local music promoter, Noah Bick of Passovah Productions. We filmed on location at Chez Boris and Nouveau Palais to put together this video biography.

Congregation Shaar Hashomayim was looking to create a web site solely devoted to its musical activities. With that came the birth of shaarmusic.org. The always ambitious Director of Music of the synagogue, approached me with a wish list of items he wanted this new website to accomplish. Audio players, CD purchasing, video archives, etc. Mission accomplished!

Have a look at the most robust website Imagination Creations has developed to date!
